Here are some questions and answers that might help you!
Q: What kind of deal did I get?
A: You got an awesome deal! One studio photo shoot with me, one 8×10 print, access to an online gallery where you can review your images, CD with the proofs for web use.
Q: What type of session does the deal cover?
Families, individuals, children, business portraits, headshots, and fashion
Q: So how many photos will I get to pick my 8×10 from?
A: On average you will get anywhere from 30-50 images
Q: I want my shoot on location, can you do that?
A: The deal you purchased is for a studio photo shoot only. My studio is a full commercial studio with hair and makeup stations.
Q: Will the image I pick as my 8×10 print be retouched?
A: Yes.
Q: What size are the images I get on CD? Are they high resolution? Will I be able to get prints from them?
A: The images on the cd are resized images for web use only. They will not produce a high quality print.
Q: What if I want to order more prints?
A: You are welcome to order more prints and packages through the online gallery
Q: What if I want to purchase a CD with all the photos from my shoot in high resolution?
A: You can do that for an additional fee of $200
Q: Are there any hidden fees and charges?
A: No, but sales tax ($5.16) is due at the time of the session
Q: Can I include my pet in the shoot?
A: Sorry, humans only
Q: When can I schedule my photo session?
A: Due to the high volume of calls during the initial deal period, reservations will not open until Feb 6th 2012
Session reservations are required and subject to availability. First come, first served. Future dates will be added as needed. The initial session dates are as follows:

Q: I really want my picture taken asap, is there a cancellation list in case someone cancels on their shoot and you might be able to squeeze me in instead?
A: Best way to find out my schedule or if I have any cancellations is via my facebook fan page. I will post on there if I get any cancellations and if you follow me you will know the latest info!
CANCELLATION POLICY – I know in life things come up last second and you might need to cancel or reschedule our photo session. If you need to cancel please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. If you don’t cancel and don’t show up to the appointment your voucher is then void. The paid value doesn’t expire so you can set up another shoot and apply what you’ve paid towards it.

How do I book my appointment?
To book your appointment, please email me at: davidmayerhofer@gmail.com. In general, the dates and times shown above should be current.
What should we wear?
First and foremost, you and your family should wear whatever you will be most comfortable in. Simple, casual clothing tends to work well because it lets you, not clothing, be the star of the photo. Try to avoid logos, large writing and busy patterns.
For group photos, siblings and families should try to wear coordinating clothing, but not necessarily matching.
What else should we bring?
If you have a special idea, perhaps a theme for the photographs, I’ll be happy to accommodate. Just bring any props that you want to include. For a child’s photo session please bring any toys, stuffed animals, snacks, or drinks that will help make your child comfortable and happy.
What happens if it rains or I need to re-schedule?
Life happens. I totally get it. If you need to reschedule your session, I just ask that you do it as far in advance as possible so others may take advantage of the opening.
What is the time-line and turn-around for getting the gallery and prints?
Within two weeks of our session, I will select the best images, publish them in a private, password-protected gallery here on my site, and email you a link and password. The gallery will be live for two weeks. During that time, you should share the gallery with your family and friends, while keeping in mind that the photos have yet to receive my full detailed processing and retouching.
Before the gallery expires, you will place your order of prints and digital images via the shopping cart in your gallery. All prints and digital images must be ordered at the same time, including the 8x10 print from the deal.
Once your order is placed, I will fully process and retouch your ordered images and send them off to my professional lab for printing. Depending on the size of your order, it may take up to 3 weeks to receive them at your home.
